Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a small model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple got engaged in 2009 before getting married at a civil ceremony that took place in December. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 for this role. In 2009, she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the series was returning to production. The fourth season began on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of all time. E!
